Abord the Aircraft Carrier USS HARRY S. TRUMAN. At the time, it was the largest carrier in the world.

Chris Taylor is a disabled Veteran and a true renaissance man. He is an accomplished 3D/VFX artist, an Award-winning Sundance Film Festival VFX Producer, Award-winning 2D Artist, and Stop Motion Animator. Additionally, he has worked on projects for Major League Baseball, and some of his work can be seen on Netflix. Unusually, he was also a Master Helmsman of an Aircraft Carrier, as well as the ship's muralist.

Chris was born in Southern California and now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was very athletic and artistic from an early age. He spent most of his time either drawing or playing baseball. His life took a major change of course, when after attending college for two years, he felt the call to join the military during the Afghan War. He travelled around the world seeing places he thought he'd never see. One day, looking over the flight deck of an Aircraft Carrier over the Atlantic, he thought of home and fun times with his friends. The saying "drink like a Sailor" came to mind, and he laughed, reflecting on how he and his friends certainly put that to the test while playing in beer pong tournaments. From these musings, Chris's first character, Pongo, was created. From then on, whenever possible, he would fill the hours drawing pictures related to beer pong, as seen through the eyes of Pongo, the ping pong ball, and Pongo's friends.

Chris's artistic skill was noticed, and he was told of the carrier having an art contest to create a logo for the MWR (Morale, Welfare, Recreation) department. His entry was the winner and was printed on a myriad of items, including large banners, tee shirts, water bottles, and golf towels. After seeing the success of his logo, the XO (Executive Officer), approached him and asked if could create something else to help inspire the Sailors and Marines. As a result, Chris airbrushed a large mural in the ship's gymnasium. He ended up painting four murals throughout the multi-billion dollar warship and was named the ship's muralist.

After his service to his country, Chris wanted to pursue his dream to be a professional artist and went back to school. He wanted to learn how to take his ideas even further and into the 3D world. He desired to create art that was fun and brought enjoyment to people. He got accepted into the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree specializing in 3D animation and visual effects, and became a Sundance award-winning VFX producer in the process.

Since graduating, Chris's love of travelling has taken him all over the world, but calls Las Vegas, Nevada his home. He moved to Las Vegas to chase a dream he created across the world in what seemed like a lifetime ago. Chris started his company, Pongo Unlimited, in 2010, while in the Navy. His original paintings and images were done in 2D. His love for golf inspired his next major character, Chip. More recently he brought Chip, Pongo and their friends to life in the world of 3D, with the hope of fulfilling the desire to create fun art that brings a smile to the face of those who view it.
